After extensive studies of chinese paintings, the oriental technique improves considerably her occidental apprehensions of the notion of empty and full, of which the significance is inversed according to the continent. Light does not depend on an outside element, light is inside: a presence.

Micky PFAU plays with colours and volumes, invites us to wander about her imaginary world, where transparences and rythmes make our certitudes vacillate. Her beautiful stillifes are crunchy, after a long period of research on human figures in black and white.
